The Royal Automotive story began in 1964 when Vernon Brinson moved to New Orleans and opened a new Oldsmobile dealership at 3400 Veterans Blvd. In seeking a dealership name synonymous with New Orleans, he selected ROYAL after the world famous French Quarter street name.
Mr. Brinson’s philosophy for operating his new dealership would become as renowned as its record-setting success for decades to follow.
